Skill Acquisitions are apart of the child's treatment plan that focus on teaching new skills or functional alternative skills to the child. Examples include but not limited to; self-care skills, motor and/or social skills, These acquisitions are individualized to the child.
Family Guidance allows the BCBA and the family to discuss ABA principles, interventions, and collaboration strategies to ensure that the child is generalizing their skill sets across everyone involved in the child's life.
